Convinced the rest of my psychology class to watch the first episode of Sherlock today, since we didn’t have an exam. They loved it. Success.

I will not rest until I’ve convinced everybody I’ve ever held a conversation with to watch Sherlock.

Casual reminder that you still have a higher IQ than Anderson.

I offered this guy I know to put Sherlock on his flash drive so he could watch it and he just sent me this on Facebook:

I need Sherlock pick up lines like I’ve never needed them before.

We’ve been watching Sherlock in my Italian class, and they all really like it and I’m very pleased, but they’re probably all going to hate me when we get to Reichenbach.

I’m probably going to hate me a little, too.

wholockian12 asked: I'd love to hear the reasons why you like Jim, if you don't mind? :)

First off, I think Andrew Scott plays the part wonderfully. There wasn’t a lot of characterization of Moriarty in the books, so there was a lot up to interpretation, and Andrew just nailed it.

Second, he’s obviously brilliant, and while I will will go down with the good ship Johnlock to the bottom of the Mariana Trench, Moriarty’s intelligence is something that I think Sherlock needed. He needed to know that other people can be just as intelligent, if not more so than he is.

Third, he’s someone that I don’t want to like, but for some reason, I do. He’s that quintessential character that everybody loves to hate. I think he was a necessary character, but Andrew Scott turned a necessary character into someone that you want on the show.

With that being said, if they bring Moriarty back, I’m gonna punch Mofftiss. They’ve done a (mostly) decent excellent job of staying true to the books, so if they decide that Moriarty also faked his own death, I’ll be pissed. They’re already walking a fine line with me because of how they portrayed Irene.

I just entered the Sherlock ticket giveaway, and now I can’t focus on anything because I’m imagining meeting Benedict Cumberbatch. And Moffat. But mostly Benedict.
